Ijaw All Progressive Congress leader, High Chief Michael Johnny has called on the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu to ensure that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to complete the report of the Supreme Court ordered delineation exercise.

Johnny also pleads for the release of the investigation into the recent arrest of a British Reserve Officer arrested for gunrunning and his accomplices.

The APC leader insists that it will boost the confidence of the people who trusted the abilities of the NSA.

According to him, "I am here to address the press about the worrying federal
ward delineation  that the Supreme Court has passed a judgment, and order INEC to conduct a fresh world delineation in the Warri Federal Constituency.

"And all parties, all stakeholders from the Ijaw, Itsekiri and the Urhobos duly attended to all the process, and INEC have submitted their reports, and the people of Delta South,
the people of Warri Federal Constituency, are waiting for the final conclusion of the INEC decision.

"But we can see a lot of politics that has been playing out. People are trying to cause unrest, insecurity, in Warri and Delta State and its environment so that INEC will be threatened, and blackmailed not to carry out the Supreme Court order.

"And the Ijaws of Warri South West, Warri North and in Warri South, the Urhobos, will not fold their hands and allow any body or any group of people or any ethnic nationality to truncate the Supreme Court order that INEC is duly following.

"So all eyes are on INEC to do the right thing, and we are waiting for INEC's final conclusion.

"Then number two, this is to the National Security Adviser, a man that is well-known, with refined history, and how he managed the office of the EFCC as Chairman then.

"So Nigeria has built confidence and trust on the INEC. So I want to advise him because there are information that he is calling for a meeting of all Ijaw, Itsekiri, and Urhobos in his office Wednesday.

"I want to advise the hard  working NSA that he should not fall into the blackmail of some people.

"The truth are there, INEC went round to all communities, INEC went round to all the polling units, all the wards before they came out with their reports. Nobody has money to bribe INEC. And INEC do not on their own went out for this process. It was a Supreme Court order that INEC was following.

"And I wonder how a common blackmail and threat will be threatening the order of Supreme Court. Where are we heading to in Nigeria?

"The truth is that the Ijaws, the Urhobos will not fold their hands on any attempt to sweep this well-known crystal clear truth that the Ijaws of Warri South West are the majority,  the Ijaws of Warri North are the majority and the Ijaws of three wards in Warri south and the Urhobos are the majority in Warri South.

"Any attempts to do that, we will not fold our hands as nobody has the monopoly of trouble or crisis. We all want peace in Delta state in as much that we want peace, we will not allow our rights, our popularity, our population to be to be played with by any attempts of blackmail by anybody.

"I want to call on the NSA to prevail on the DSS that the British Army that was arrested in Lagos in connection with gunrunning they got into this country to cause problem, after many weeks, the DSS has not come out with any clear information about the investigation of the British Army that was arrested.

"There are informations everywhere that there are some people who are behind those gun to cause problem in Warri and other places in Delta state and the DSS has not made any public comments on this.

"Just yesterday you see that EFCC quickly make a comment on Tompolo video that Tompolo has a question to answer, and we have a British army in custody and the DSS has not said anything about it publicly, the NSA has not commented anything about it publicly.

"I want advise sincerely from the grassroots that the meeting that the NSA is calling for tomorrow, the NSA should brief our people about the British army that is arrested in Lagos in connection with those guns." He added.
