Breaking News: Ariwoola, Akpomudje emerge BOB Chairman and Vice

The immediate past Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon Justice Olukayode Ariwoola GCON has emerged Chairman of the Body of Bencher of Nigeria just as Olorogun Albert Akpomudje SAN becomes Vice Chairman for the next one year.

The cheery news was broken to Vanguard by Akpomudje SAN in a text message.

The Nigerian Bar Association in their last NEC meeting had nominated Akpomudje SAN as Vice Chairman.
 
According to him, "I am happy to announce that I have been elected today 27th March 2025 as Vice Chairman of the Body of Benchers for the next one year while Hon Justice Olukayode Ariwoola GCON Immediate Past Chief Justice of Nigeria as Chairman."
