NBA Udu arrests another fake lawyer in Delta Community

A team of Lawyers from the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Udu Branch in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State ably led by David Omage Esq, have apprehended another fake Lawyer, Godspower Ogoba. 

Secretary, NBA, Udu Branch, Austin E. Nyekigbe Esq, disclosed this in a statement sent to PEBNEWS Correspondent in Warri. 

He noted that the suspect was apprehended on 29th January, 2025. 

Nyekigbe said the suspect was apprehended in a business center at Ufuoma Street, Ovwian preparing a Deed using the name and seal of late Samson Ugbogbo Esq, and that of Jonathan E. Eguaveon, Esq. who is currently in the US.

"According to Godspower he charged 5k for the Deed of a land of N5.5M. 

"He has been handed over to the Police and he is presently cooling off at the Ovwian Police Station."

The suspect's arrest is coming two weeks after, another fake Lawyer Silas was caught in the same Ovwian in Udu Local Government Area.

Silas was charged to Magistrate Court Ovwian Monday and granted bail of N1million with surety of like some.

"Issue of quackery is dangerous to professional bodies as they constitute grave danger. We won't rest until we rid NBA of fake Lawyers." J.E Odohisi Esq, NBA Chairman Udu stated.
