Aladja People's Parliament hail federal lawmaker, Francis Waive for constructing Aladja school fence, others

Aladja People's Parliament, APP, a WhatsApp pressure group today commended the Member representing the people of Udu/Ughelli North & Ughelli South in the House of Representatives, RT. Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive for construction of perimetre fence, renovation of principal and vice principal quarters, renovation of four blocks of classrooms, building of toilet facilities and sinking of a solar borehole in Aladja Grammar School,Aladja Community in Udu Local Government Area Area. 

Hon. Bezi Ejovwo Ighotegwolor, Engr.(Chief) Paulson Okobiebi, Chief.C.C.I, Wiliki and Barr. Ben Taghogho Efeurhobo spoke on behalf of Aladja People's Parliament.

While noting that the federal lawmaker began the construction works in the school December 2024, the APP appreciated him for keeping to his promise to his alma mater. 

They also urged Delta State Governor, RT.Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori who is also an Old Boy of Aladja Grammar School to  come make the school a model school by building hostel facilities in the school which is the first secondary school in Udu Local Government Area. 

The Aladja People's Parliament also commended the school's management team led by the Principal, Mrs. Doris Otega Okurume and the teachers for doing their best to maintain the facilities in the school. 

The Parliament also commended Hon. Waive for his efforts in building two blocks of classrooms for Evwrirhe Primary School, Aladja and for his efforts in influencing the Federal Medical Centre, Ovwian, a neighbouring Community to Aladja. 

The Parliament noted that since the return of democratic rule since 1999, noember of the House of Rep has done anything compared to what Hon. Waive has done. "So, we are calling on him to keep the flag flying while also calling on the constituents of the three local governments of Udu/Ughelli North&Ughelli South to re-elect him in 2027 for more dividends of Democracy."
