Tompolo tables Nigeria insecurity problems before Bini-Ebi Madinorbo, offers thanksgiving
High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, has petitioned the goddess of Bini-Ebi Madinorbo to help to resolve the insecurity problems confounding the Country during the yearly Thanksgiving service at Ogulagha, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Tompolo, the high priest of Biniebi and Egbesu led prayers for the Ijaw people worldwide, calling for peace across Nigeria.
The ceremony featured the rich cultural heritage of the Ijaw people, including the offering of sacrifices to appease the goddess of Bini-ebi Madinorbo.
Rituals began at the Ogulagha sea front with invocative prayers aimed at promoting peace, wealth, and divine blessings while averting any malevolent influences.
Sacrifices were then performed at the Bini-ebi Madinorbo temple as worshippers redeemed their vows and renewed new one for continued protection and blessings.
The event included solemn prayers, traditional dances, singing, and worship, culminating in a public declaration by the high priests advocating for peace in Nigeria.
The occasion attracted dignitaries from various regions, including the Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, High Chief Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Security Services, Chief Hon. Barr. Macdonald Igbadiwei, Sir Tare Godfrey Pondi, General Manager of Operations at Tantita Security Services, and many other prominent personalities.
