Newly built Enerhen Station by MATON ENGINEERING, will boost officers morale, Group declares, calls for support for journalists, human right activists

A group under the auspices of Human Rights Protection Congress, HRPC today said, the newly  built and commissioned Enerhen Police Station by MATON ENGINEERING LIMITED and its Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Matthew Tonlagha as part of its Corperate Social Responsibility, CSR to host communities, will help boost the morale and confidence of officers and men of the Police Division. 

A Senior Special Assistant on Human Rights to the Delta State Governor, made the assertion in an interview with Our Correspondent at Enerhen Police Station.  

"Yes it will help boost the moral of police officers within the State knowing that well meaning Deltans appreciate their efforts and sacrifices too."

Ejumudo who is also HRPC National Secretary applauded the Management and Staff of MATON ENGINEERING for the kind gesture the Police.

According to Ejumudo, "The station was built to contemporary standard of Police Division Nigeria Police Force Delta State Command."

He stated that the newly built Police station is a wake up call for other companies to support host communities and the Delta State Government by carrying out meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility Programs in the security sector, educational sector, health sector and digital innovations programs.

He stressed that, "Security is our collective responsibility and this is a welcome development."

Ejumudo enjoined the Divisional Police Officer, DPO to ensure that the facility is kept clean at all times and urge him to be ready to fight crime and criminality within his area of jurisdiction

Ejumudo urged the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Erale 
to engage in rigorous training and re-training of his men as well as ensure the use of modern day technology to combat crimes and criminality insisting they must respect the fundamental human rights of Deltans at all times.

Ejumudo also implored the Chief Executive Officer of MATON ENGINEERING LIMITED, Engr. Matthew Tonlagha to also support the health and education educational sectors by helping to build schools and health centers in the rural areas and consider supports, empowerment & trainings for Journalists and Human Right Community within Warri and its environ saying many of them are going through hardships like every other Nigerian as most media establishments don't salaries

Ejumudo also said that the private companies should emulate MATON ENGINEERING by meeting up in their Corporate Social Responsibilities to their host communities. 

The Uvwie Council Chairman,  Executive Chairman,Chief(Hon.) Anthony Ofoni, ACP Graham Imade, Warri Area Commander of the Nigeria Police Force, Chiefs from the palace of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM. Emmanuel Sideo Abe I, Human Rights Activists, Security Volunteer Groups,men and officers of the Nigerian Military and Journalists were on ground during the commissioning of the project.
