CDHR appoints Edariese as Chairman"Reconciliation/Mediation Committee"

The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights,CDHR, Nigeria has appointed Comrade Amrevuawho Peter Edariese as Chairman of "Reconciliation/Mediation Committee" of the CDHR. 

This is contained in a letter notifying Comrade Edariese of his appointment.

The notification letter was signed by Comrade Debo Adeniran and Comrade Deji Adebowale, National President and National General Secretary respectively. 

Part of the letter reads thus,"Comrade Amrevuawho Peter Edariese. Notice of Your Appointment as the Chairman of "Reconciliation/Mediation Committee" of CDHR Nigeria. 

"This is writing to notify you of your appointment as the Chairman of Reconciliation/Mediation Committee of CDHR Nigeria. 

"The Committee is expected to work in collaboration with the office of the National General Secretary of the organization."

The CDHR said other members of the Committee includes,Alfred Olorunwo(08023714281)Ondo(Vice Chairman), Aji Kawu Hussain (08067248549)Yobe (Secretary), Muhamed Dikko (08060008151) Adamawa (Member) ,Adesegun.A. Aloba (09023456210) Lagos (Member), Odeniran Adeleye Josiah.A.(08146238217) Osun(Member) and Fasasi Apanishile (08137324808) Lagos(Member).

"It is also a Constitutional provision that the National General Secretary of the organization be an ex-officio member of this Committee. 

"Part of what is expected of your committee is as follows:
1.  Be in charge of dispute and conflict resolution within the organization. 
2. Investigating complaints and grienaces between members of the organization.
3. Facilitating dialogue and negotiation between parties and providing guidance on conflict resolution.
4. Proposing solutions and agreements and monitoring implementation of agreements. 
5. Perform any other related functions as may be assigned by the President."
