Tompolo mourns late Ex-President Muhammadu Buhari

High Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) and the Ibe-Ebidouwei of the Ijaw Nation, has expressed his condolences on the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement, Tompolo described Buhari as a principled and patriotic Nigerian who made significant contributions to the country's development during his tenure from 2015 to 2023. 

He noted that Buhari's leadership style was characterized by a commitment to hiring individuals of character, goodwill, and vigor to serve the country.

Tompolo highlighted Buhari's decision to engage Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited in 2022 to handle the surveillance of critical oil and gas facilities, which he said marked a significant turning point in the country's progress towards attaining peak oil production.

Tompolo praised Buhari for his selflessness and contentment, saying, "He was not a materialistic person and was content with what God blessed him with." He also commended Buhari's commitment to unity and peace in the country.

"Nigerians will miss his contributions to the unity and peace of their country. 

"I extend my heartfelt condolences to the country, his family, and close associates.

"May his soul rest in peace." He stated.
