Top Private Security Services says training by TANTITA is to improve 100 NSCDC, TANTITA personnel

Top-Private Security Services Nigeria Limited today said the ongoing capacity building training being organized in partnership with TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited,TSSNL is to improve one hundred(100)Personnel of the Nigeria Security&Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC and TANTITA Coordinators and to enable them work in accordance with government regulations.

"Training is a way of improving the personnels and the contractors in their services, in rendering services to the public."

Top-Private Security Services,Human Resource Officer,Uchechukwu Emmanuel Iwundu said this during a chat with newsmen in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area. 

He disclosed that TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited in partnership with  Top-Private Security Services Nigeria Limited organized the training for the personnel. 

According to Iwundu,"This training by TANTITA is a very wonderful experience for us. It's what we all need in our different phases of life. Training is very important in life  especially this partnership is very necessary between two security companies granting training.

"I believe this initiative is a very nice one to key to push the personnels to do their job perfectly and in accordance with the government regulations."

Iwundu urged the participants to practice and apply the knowledge they've gathered from the training in their field works in accordance with regulations of the land. 

While noting that security is everyone's business,Iwundu said,they're not expected as security personnel to cross their boundaries and infringe the rights of citizens of the Country. "So,we must walk in, according to the law, Federal Republic of Nigeria."

The General Manager(Security/Military Liaison),TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited,Brig. Gen. Efe Dafioghor today said personnel of the Nigeria Security&Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC and  TANTITA have shared responsibilities in safeguarding the nation's assets due to the increasing threats of oil facilities particularly in the Oil and Gas sector.


He noted that the training which is being organized by TANTITA in collaboration with Top Private Security Services Nigeria Limited is to strengthen inter-agency cooperation amongst the two security outfits.

Brig. Gen. Dafioghor said the goal of TSSNL is to foster a stronger more unified approach to security coordination that enhances operational effectiveness, intelligence sharing and rapid response mechanisms. 
 
According to him,"NSCDC &TSSNL have a shared responsibility in safeguarding the nation's assets.

He pointed out that,"The platform offers an opportunity to strengthen inter-agency cooperation, harmonize operating procedure and build mutual trust among field coordinators.

He also advised participants to share experiences,learn from one another and develop lasting professional relationships that will benefit their collective mission. 

He urged them to use the opportunity to enhance their knowledge ,sharpen their skills, return to their units, locations better prepared to meet their contemporary challenges to the protection of oil and gas assets.

The objective of the training is to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, enhance tactical capacity and align security coordination frame work for effective protection of national critical infrastructures. 

Executive Director(Technical), TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited,Capt. Enisuoh Wariedi said the training is necessary, effective for the efficient performances of the Security personnel. Capt. 

Wariedi advised the participants to take the training serious as it will take them far in their career and personal lives as well as strengthen the bond and relationships they have with TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited. 

A legal practitioner, David Ogbedu Esq in a lecture titled"Oil Assets surveillance viz-a-viz application" said in the Administration of criminal justice and engagements in the cause of the operations of Personnel, the rule of law must be followed to ensure effective operation and surveillance of critical national oil assets. 

He also condemned the use Brute force in extracting confessional statements from suspects. 

An expert Julius Nasamu Gaiya who aligned himself with the legal practitioner said, they do not have the right fire the leg anyone alleged to have committed an offence. "That's wrong. Unless he is pointing a gun at you.'

Gaiya however, encouraged the use of technology for surveillance by the security personnel just as he said they(NSCDC&TSSNL Personnel) should collaborate amongst themselves in safeguarding oil facilities. He added that they should also collaborate with host communities to get information beyond their reach during intelligence gathering.
