NADESSTU Applauds Junior Oborevwori for Dedication to Student Welfare

The National Association of Delta State Students (NADESSTU) has lauded the founder of the Sheriff Care Foundation, Mr. Sheriff Junior Oborevwori, for his unwavering commitment to improving student welfare and supporting the less privileged in Delta State.
The commendation was delivered on Friday during a Thank You visit by NADESSTU President, Comrade Monday Wiska, and other delegates of the association.
During the meeting, Comrade Wisk highlighted the foundation’s significant contributions to the well-being of Delta State students. He acknowledged that since the inception of his administration, Oborevwori Jnr has consistently supported various initiatives aimed at uplifting students across the state.
"Our visit was to personally appreciate Mr. Oborevwori for his generosity through the Sheriff Jnr Care Foundation, which has profoundly impacted our students and the larger community, including the less privileged," Wiska stated.
As a token of appreciation, NADESSTU presented Oborevwori with a roll-up banner and honored him with the NADESSTU Merit Award for his exceptional dedication to student support and philanthropy.
“As a philanthropist, Mr. Junior Oborevwori has touched countless lives across the state. His efforts include the distribution of relief materials such as food items, cash gifts, and vehicles, as well as assistance with hospital bills for the elderly,” Wiska added.
During the visit, Wiska also shared NADESSTU’s recent accomplishments with Oborevwori Jnr, who expressed admiration for the association’s progress under Wiska’s leadership. He commended initiatives such as the NADESSTU Centre for Entrepreneurship and Excellence, among other impactful programs aimed at empowering students.
