PDP crisis: Damagum remains in office till December 2025 - Deputies

Amidst the raging Peoples Democratic Party leadership crisis, a section of elected deputies in the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Party have insisted that Ambassador Umar Damagum remains the party’s Ag. National Chairman of the party until December, 2025. 

The Deputy National Youth Leader, Timothy Osadolor said this at a press briefing in Abuja, on Wednesday. 

Osadolor explained that the issue of National Chairman and Secretary of the party “is a settled matter” because as today, there are subsisting court judgements supporting this position. 

He advised party leaders and members who had alternative views other than what the party’s constitution and the existing court rulings stipulate to leave instead of remaining and de-marketing the party.
