The Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaruan II, Aketekpe/Agadagba, and other esteemed Ijaw traditional rulers have returned from their 3-day annual spiritual fortification exercise at the revered Agadagba-Bou (Ijaw Holy Land) in Egbedani Community, Sabageria, Kolokuma-Opokuma LGA, Bayelsa State.
During the exercise, the monarchs engaged in prayer and fasting, seeking God's intervention for the country's economic hardships and tribulations. King Zaccheaus Egbenu, Pere of Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom, emphasized the importance of humility, prayer, and seeking God's face, citing II Chronicles 7:14.
The traditional rulers also prayed for the Royal Fathers, the states, and the whole country, as well as for the President Tinubu, that God may intervene to bring an end to hunger and economic hardships.
High Chief Mcdonald Igbadiwei noted that the prayers and fasting would bring a newness of life to the country, emphasizing the importance of loving one another, praying for those in leadership positions, and supporting the government to ensure its success.
