American Investors eye clean energy investments in Delta State
Skybridge West Africa in the United States of America are eyeing clean energy investment opportunities in Idjerhe Kingdom, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta state.
This is coming months after His Royal Majesty, King Monday Whiskey, Udurhie I, Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom visit to Atlanta, where he advertised the investment opportunities in the Niger Delta region.
Chard Reese, President, Skybridge West Africa who led his team after a tour of the various sites expressed satisfaction with his discovery and promised to begin developmental talks.
According to him, "We are here looking for opportunities for investment in clean energy, sustainable energy projects. We have a couple of technologies that we employ. So, we are here looking at these, as part of a broader scope of development for the region.
"It is an outstanding opportunity. What we will do is we would put our team together once I return to the States, and we begin our correspondence, we will begin due diligence process. I'm very impressed with what we've seen here today, as well as the potential opportunity for development for the region.
"There are a number of opportunities that exist that we can see available, in terms of development but also the potential for manufacturing which are some of the discussions that we've had for creating economic development and employment opportunities for the region".
On his part, HRM King Monday Whiskey, Udurhie I, Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom called on other investors to tap into the abundant opportunities that exist in Idjerhe Kingdom.
"Am using this opportunity to call on investors across the world to come and tap into the opportunities that abound here. I told them while in the USA and this team have come to see for themselves." He said.
