Olomu Kingdom mourns Tebite, Abu, calls for prayers
The Olomu Kingdom Traditional Council of Chiefs has mourned the departure of its two illustrious members, Olorogun Talib Tebite and Olorogun Martins Abu both from Okpare Olomu, calling for prayers and dedication to God for safety.
This was contained in a condolence message signed by Olorogun Albert Akpomudje SAN, Otota of Olomu on behalf of the Council to families of the departed Olomu's illustrious sons.
Olorogun Talib Tebite was, until his death, the Executive Director, Project of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC.
Tebite held the Efedenden of Olomu Kingdom title while Olorogun Abu was the Akerho of Olomu Kingdom respectively.
According to Akpomudje: “On behalf of OKTC, my family, I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of these two illustrious sons and friends, Olorogun Talib Tebite and Olorogun Martins Abu, who until their deaths, were active members of the council.
“The duo were great sons who have made their marks by standing for Olomu's development. Their untimely exit leaves a great vacuum that will be difficult to fill in their families in particular and in Olomu in general.
“On behalf of the entire Olomu Kingdom, I extend our heartfelt condolences to their families, friends, and loved ones. May God grant them the strength to bear these irreparable losses.
“We will miss them dearly, but their memories will live on in our hearts through the impact they made in our kingdom”, Akpomudje stated.
