I want to complete Oborevwori's More Agenda in Ughelli North in three years - Egbo
The Ughelli North Local Government Area Chairman, Olorogun (Barr) Jaro Egbo has promised that his administration's goal is to fulfill Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's More Agenda in three years.
The Lawyer turned Politician said that his vision is for higher assignments where his experience will be called to bear.
Egbo stated this weekend in a chat with PEBNEWS.He said that he never planned to be Council Chairman that's why he has taken a different approach.
According to him: "I wasn't prepared to be Council Chairman but I was forced to, I was drafted, it wasn't part of my dream. I always felt that the Local Government is not where I belonged, it could well be the reason I am acting differently.
"Again, when I commissioned vehicles, one of my colleagues (Chairman) called me from where I got monies for all that and I told him it was our allocation and he said I was putting some of them in trouble. God has blessed me and I won't stay only as Local Government Chairman.
"The things I do here is service to my people, I am not looking to build another house, I have a home, my kids are doing well. At least, I can pay their fees, so whatever that will compromise me not to act well, God has already provided it for me.
"I see this position as a three year National Assignment and I don't wish to disappoint my Governor who brought me here. I don't want to also disappoint my name and family, that's why I am doing my best.
"All I am doing is to ensure that I cram in what I would achieve in six years in three years so my Governor won't have excuse for me to go back to the Council.
"This is the reason I have started very well. I will ensure all that, within three years, I would have satisfied what I would have done in two tenures. I want to finish my work in the first three years," he added.
