The call was contained in a statement signed by Kerebi Ombe  and Hon. Ujeyah Princewill, Chairman and Secretary respectively as they accused one Elaye Slaboh from Bayelsa State of impersonating the National Chairman.

They insist Slaboh is not the National Chairman of the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP).

The statement noted that Preye Ekpebide from Delta State is the newly elected National Chairman of the Third Phase of PAP, adding  that, he was duly elected and took over the  leadership from the immediate past Chairman, General Tonye Bobo, after a peaceful election.

The Phase Three leaders in the statement, warned Elaye Slaboh to forthwith desist from impersonating the National Chairman.

"We the beneficiaries of the Third Phase of PAP hereby warn Elaye Slaboh to desist from impersonating Ekpebide who is the legally and legitimately elected Chairman of the Third Phase

"We urged all beneficiaries of the Third Phase to disregard any claim by Slaboh." It added.

The group further cautioned that dealings of any kind with Slaboh or his associates should not be recognized by the phase three leaders and the entire Third Phase beneficiaries in the Niger Delta as a whole.

They called on the PAP administrator, Dr. Dennis Otuaro to, as matter of urgency, intervene and terminate  every transactions with Elaye Slaboh in his false capacity.

The group further appealed to Delta State and other states governments under the PAP in the Niger Delta region including NDDC, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), International Oil Companies (IOC) and other related bodies to refrain from transacting with Slaboh, so to maintain peace and ensure progressive development in the region.

They further maintained that Slaboh does not have the mandate of the Third Phase beneficiaries and was only providing a false cover for himself thereby causing disaffections and division in the group.
