Memorial Celebration: Friends, church members honour Late Prophet Kanu Kamboh
Family, friends, business associates, and church members have honoured Late Prophet Dr. Benson Kanu Kamboh on his 15th Memorial Celebration at Salvation Zion Church of Christ Asantuagbene, Cherubim and Seraphim Church, sited at Bini River, in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The late Founder and Minister in charge of Salvation Zion Church of Christ, Asantuagbene, week-long memorial celebration started on the 12th of August and ended on the 18th with the theme: "The Faithful Journey".
In address, the General Overseer of the Ministry, King Eli-Saida who took his sermon from the book of Genesis 12:1-2, advised members to continue to mark the event annually, just as he encouraged children to be united in all they do.
While speaking with PEBNEWS, Hon. Ebisco Okpeku Kamboh, the eldest son said: "My father was a generous man. He brought us together to praise God every morning before we went out for our daily activities. I really miss him.
"Yes, everyone came from different places, but we all gathered here today to honour my father because of his good work. This is the 15th year and we will continue to do his memorial ceremony annually. And we need more people to join us come next year," he said.
Ambassador Super Kamboh, third son of the late Prophet Kanu said, he would really miss his father, adding that the church service was a gathering of all persons both children and church members to remember his father who joined his ancestors on the 18th of August, 2009.
While Amb. Super expressed his gratitude to attendees, he said: "My father was a good man hence we can see this crowd here honouring him today. I heartily appreciate everyone of you for taking out time from your busy work schedule to attend my father's memorial service. I am really grateful to you for being with us on this process for the past seven days. May God bless you all in Jesus' name", he concluded.
