W/S PDP's Chairmanship Candidate unveiles manifesto

As Local Government Area elections draw near, the People Democratic Party's (PDP) Chairmanship candidate for Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade  Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac has unveiled his manifesto with promise to put machinery in motion to put smiles on the people's  faces with the dividends of democracy if voted into office.

Addressing the mammoth crowd at Brown Hills Event Centre Warri in Warri South Local Government Area, Monday, Comrade Isaac said if he elected into the office of the Chairman of the the local government area, among other things, his administration will focus on human capital development which will be on education to enhance capacity building, infrastructural development, youths  and women's empowerment, radical rural transformation, agricultural evolution, enhanced security, commerce and industrialization.

Comrade Isaac who titled his manifesto as "The MORE GRACE  Agenda" said, his administration will invest in education, training and capacity building to enhance the character, skills and knowledge of the workforce,job creation and economic employment. 

His words: " We shall facilitate small business development initiative with relevant financial institutions such as a Bank of Industry, BOI, Small Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria SMEDAN, microfinance  programmes and entrepreneurship training to create job opportunities, boost local production and grow our  local economy".

According to him, his administration would create access to quality education, comprehensive primary health care, improved water, sanitation, and hygiene(Wash) system, strengthen land and water transportation system among others.

 He said, since Warri is endowed with huge aerial of land that is yearning for various agricultural purposes with its huge potential for job creation, industrialization and economic growth, his administration would make room for these to be possible.

His words: "We shall mobilize the services of professionals to conduct the relevant feasibility studies and maps, delineate and prioritize these aerial lands into agricultural applications in accordance with their areas of comparative advantage.."

According to him, there would be  improved market systems, efficient tax system, enabling environment for business, stability and enhanced security, community engagement and dialogue, conflicts resolution mechanism, community policing, crime prevention, response  and capacity building.

The PDP's Chairmanship candidate of Warri South whose his Vice is Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre promised conducive environment for Warri as a city regain its lost glory in all ramifications.

Also speaking of the Deputy Chairman, Peoples Democratic  Party,(PDP), Ada-Val Areyenka, Delta State who represented Chief Kingsley Esiso, State Chairman of the Party said Comr. Agbateyiniro and his running mate, Hon.  Edafiadjebre are good pair for Warri South, and praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for stabilizing the  actualization of good governance in the state.

The occasion was attended by PDP's stakeholders and the representatives of Nigeria Union of Teachers(NUT), Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, among others.

The climax of the ceremony was the  unveiling of the manifesto booklet by  Areyenka Esq for the admiration  of the people.
