Use your positions to contribute your quota effectively, Akpomudje urges new Supreme Court Justices
A foremost Nigerian lawyer and Senior Advocate, Olorogun Albert Akpomudje has urged newly sworn Justices of the Supreme Court to use their new positions to contribute their quota effectively.
Akpomudje, a Life Bencher and Traditional Prime Minister (Otota) of Olomu kingdom made the appeal in his congratulatory message to their Lordships.
In a personally signed letter, the legal icon said, “On behalf of my family and staff of Albert Akpomudje SAN & Partners, We heartily congratulate you on your recent elevation to the revered Bench of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, marking the apex of the aspiration of any Judicial Officer in Nigeria.
“I have followed your career over the years and was excited to read about your nomination and appointment as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria which culminated in your swearing in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria on 26th February, 2024.
“We are confident that your appointment was well deserved, as you have distinguished yourself all these years on the Bench particularly during your years as a Justice of the Court of Appeal in Nigeria. We are looking forward to more fruitful years in the administration of justice in Nigeria as you contribute your quota at the Apex Court in Nigeria.
“It is our earnest prayer that the Almighty God will grant you the enablement and wisdom to discharge your judicious functions effectively in your present capacity as a Justice of Supreme Court of Nigeria.” He said.
