Tinubu appoints Dennis Otuaro as administrator of presidential amnesty programme

In a recent development, President Bola Tinubu approved and appointed Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).

Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, made this announcement on March 14, 2023. 

Dr. Otuaro boasts an impressive academic background, holding a PhD in Comparative Politics & Development Studies, an MSc in Public Administration, and a BSc in Education. 

His professional experience includes serving as a top-level executive at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), where he gained extensive expertise in various fields such as infrastructural development, security, environmental remediation, and the oil and gas sector.

President Tinubu expressed his confidence in Dr. Otuaro's ability to bring his wealth of experience and knowledge to bear on the revitalization of the Amnesty Programme. 

It is expected that under Dr. Otuaro's leadership, the Programme will undergo significant reforms to achieve its original objectives and vision.

This appointment marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
