Oyibode Tasks Ukodo Yanfu Yanfu on PVC Mobilisation, APC Support in Udu

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Delta State, Olorogun Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode, has urged members of the Ukodo Yanfu Yanfu Pressure Group to intensify voter sensitisation and mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the 10 wards of the council.

Oyibode gave the charge on Tuesday when he received national and state officers of the group, led by its National Coordinator, Barrister Tony Ejoh, on a courtesy visit to the Council Secretariat, Otor-Udu.

He particularly urged the group to mobilise eligible voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the forthcoming elections, stressing the importance of active participation in the electoral process.

The Council Chairman commended the group for its commitment to grassroots mobilisation and its readiness to work with his administration towards achieving what he described as victory for the APC and its candidates.

He said, “Anybody coming with the readiness to mobilize 5/5 for His Excellency and the APC is laudably welcomed.”

Earlier, Ejoh said the visit was aimed at formally introducing the group to the Council Chairman and explaining its objectives, mission and activities.

He said the group was established to mobilise support around the development projects of the Delta State Government and ensure victory for the APC in the forthcoming general elections.

Ejoh said members of the group across Udu were ready to work with the Council Chairman and other stakeholders to achieve the party’s electoral objectives.

“Our Chairman, Ukodo Yanfu Yanfu is here to inform you that our members in Udu are available to work with you in achieving victory for His Excellency and all APC candidates in Udu and Delta State at large,” he said.
