High Chief Ebipade Kari, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Delta State House of Assembly, Warri North Constituency II, has vowed to give the people of the constituency a stronger voice at the State Assembly if elected in the 2027 general elections.

Kari made the commitment while speaking at the Delta South Central District Mega Meeting of the APC, where he described the gathering as a significant step towards strengthening party unity, reconnecting its structures and mobilising members ahead of the 2027 elections.

The APC candidate expressed appreciation to God for the opportunity to participate in the meeting, while commending the organisers, party leaders and stakeholders for bringing members together from different parts of the district.

He said the meeting provided an important platform for party leaders and members to discuss how to build a united and formidable APC ahead of the elections.

Kari stressed the need for the party to avoid division at the polls, calling on members to work together to ensure that APC votes are delivered as a “bloc vote” for all the party’s candidates, from the President and Governor to the Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly.

According to him, a united party structure would be critical to securing victory for the APC in 2027.

Kari also described his emergence as the APC candidate for Warri North Constituency II as the fulfilment of a dream he had nurtured for decades.

He said, “Around 1985, 1986, I got this dream that if God gave me the opportunity to stand and speak for my people, and today it has come to pass. I want to appreciate God for that.”

He thanked the party leaders for their commitment and for making time to attend the mega meeting, saying their presence showed their determination to reposition the APC and ensure victory in 2027.

Kari particularly drew attention to Warri North Constituency II, which he said had suffered neglect and marginalisation in terms of political representation.

He expressed optimism that his emergence would provide the people with an opportunity to have a representative who would boldly speak for them and bring their concerns to the attention of government.

“If I become a member of the State House of Assembly, the voices that have not been heard before will be heard,” he said.

Kari promised to make the interests of his constituents a priority, assuring them that he would not take their mandate for granted.

He also said he had put plans in place to protect the mandate entrusted to him by the electorate, expressing determination to ensure that the will of the people was not compromised.

The APC candidate appealed to leaders, youths and women across Warri North Constituency II to support his candidacy and the party.

He placed particular emphasis on the role of women in political mobilisation, describing them as a powerful force in shaping decisions within families and communities.

Kari commended the women who supported and encouraged their husbands and children to attend the mega meeting, appreciating them for their commitment to the party.

He urged the electorate, especially APC supporters across Delta State, to come out in large numbers and vote for all APC candidates during the 2027 elections.

He said the success of the party would depend largely on unity, commitment and the collective determination of its members to work together.

Kari concluded by thanking God, the party leadership and the people for the opportunity to serve, while calling for continued unity and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 polls.
