Renovation: CSP Onyinaya has brought sanity to Ebrumede Police Station with transformation agenda, CJF declares

The Concerned Journalist Forum, CJF today said CSP Uche Noah Onyinaya has brought "sanity" as well as providing a conducive environment to boost the morale of officers and men under him by renovating the once dilapidated Ebrumede Police Station with his transformation agenda in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State. 

This is contained in a statement signed by CJF National President, Comrade Emeka Nwokocha and Comrade Celestine Ukah respectively. CJF members who visited the Police station said, "This is commendable and we urge him to continue to do more for the nation anywhere he serves."

CJF said before the assumption of CSP Onyinaya at Ebrumede Division, the Police station was not a place for any Police officer to work as it was in a sorry State. 

CJF stressed that the environment was very unkept and with the buildings dilapidated. 

CJF also said the morale of new officers who were deployed to Delta State especially Ebrumede Division were low due the poor and smelling environment.

It recalled the mass transfer of Policemen following  the alleged murder of one Oghenemine by ASP Nuhu Usman and others. 

It pointed out that when CSP Onyinaya who who assumed duty on 6th July 2026, his first move was to give the Police station a new phase by repainting and providing new sign post for the Police Station and clearing all dirts from the police premises. 

CJF also said the Police officer succeeded in transforming the Police Station with the help of good spirited individuals and philanthropists from Anambra State his last place of service. 

According to CJF, "This Police station was built twelve(12)years ago and it became comatosed with its environment unkept and unfit for anyone to work. Everywhere was smelly with the building dilapidated. But when CSP Onyinaya came on board, the low morale of men are now high.

"The morale of men who were transferred to this division became low as a result of the poor working environment. Many these officers were transferred to the state including the DPO after over 80,% of Policemen we're transferred from the State for the alleged murder of one Oghenemine by a Policeman, ASP Nuhu Usman.

"You can see that just after the renovation and transformation work by the DPO, the Policemen, arrested some kidnappers and made recovery of some fire arms."

CJF also said in the short time the DPO assumed office,he has made a major breakthrough with the arrest of some armed robbery syndicate which he handed over to State Criminal Investigate Department, CID, which were subsequently disclosed and confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Bright Edafe did a press release on behalf of the command

CJF also urged the Ebrumede Community who are happy over the development to continue to work with CSP Onyinaya, his men so as to be able to provide them adequate security. 

CJF further said they decided to commend the Police Officer for doing good job in his service to the nation. It enjoined Nigerians to always praise the Police where they do good and not only criticize them when they make mistakes.
