Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced that his sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, will be released on Friday, July 31, 2026.
The announcement was made across his official social media platforms with a cinematic teaser that introduced the sound and concept of the forthcoming project.
ORIADÉ arrives as Davido celebrates 15 years in the music industry. The title is drawn from two Yoruba words: “ori” meaning destiny or head, and “adé” meaning crown.
According to the singer, the album explores themes of purpose, honour, and achievement - a reflection of his journey and growth as one of Afrobeats’ global ambassadors.
