Don Banky celebrates Oborevwori's 63rd birthday

Gen. Okunduopagha James, popularly known as “Don Banky” and a prominent Niger Delta youth leader, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, on his birthday, describing the occasion as a milestone that coincides with the governor’s third year in office.

In a birthday message issued on Friday, 19th June, Don Banky commended the Oborevwori administration for its focus on infrastructure development, governance reforms, and investments in critical sectors of the state’s economy over the past three years.

He acknowledged the state government’s efforts in advancing its development agenda, noting that the projects and policies implemented since 2023 have begun to reshape Delta’s economic landscape.

“As your administration marks three years, I acknowledge the progress made through infrastructure projects, governance reforms, and strategic investments across critical sectors,” he said.

Don Banky also reaffirmed the support of himself and his team for Governor Oborevwori’s re-election bid in 2027, citing confidence in his leadership and vision for the state.

He prayed for the governor’s continued good health, wisdom, and strength as he carries out the responsibilities of office.

"Once again, Happy birthday sir," Banky added.
