Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has commissioned several key infrastructure projects at the Nigerian Navy Ship Delta (NNS Delta) in Warri, aimed at improving personnel welfare and operational readiness.

The projects include a 30 x 1 Self-Contained Transit Accommodation for senior rates, an Executive Officer’s Institutional Accommodation, a volleyball court, a lawn tennis court, and additional car parks.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral S.D. Ibrahim, said the projects represent more than new structures.

“What we are witnessing today is not merely the inauguration of structures, but the tangible manifestation of operational readiness, strategic partnership, and administrative excellence,” he stated.

Rear Admiral Ibrahim commended Tantita for sponsoring the transit accommodation and institutional house, noting that the gesture directly boosts morale and sets an example for private sector support of national security infrastructure.

He also commissioned the sports facilities and car parks, highlighting their role in promoting fitness, teamwork, and order within the base. He praised the Commander of NNS Delta and the project team for transforming the base through earlier works, including the remodeling of the auditorium, renovations of the administrative block, and upgrades to the Corpers’ Lodge.

“To the officers, ratings, and civilian staff of NNS Delta, let these projects serve as proof that your hard work is seen and valued. However, I charge you to protect these assets. A commissioned project is only as good as its maintenance,” he partly stated.

Speaking to journalists at the event, Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, Technical Executive Director for Operations and Technical Services at Tantita Security Services, said the company’s support is driven by its belief in the Nigerian project and national unity.

“We have always believed in the security of this country and in securing the national commonwealth for the benefit of all citizens,” Enisuoh said.

He explained that while Tantita is not an armed security outfit, it provides critical support services and has a responsibility to partner with armed forces.

“Our message is clear: we are not just giving and leaving them. This is a partnership. Where we are required to maintain, we will do that. Where they are required to maintain, they will do that,” he said.

Enisuoh noted that the commissioning in Delta follows a similar intervention by Tantita in Rivers State last week, and emphasized that the company will continue to support security forces with equipment, safety measures, and comfortable facilities to sustain morale after operations in the field.

The event concluded with a call for continued collaboration between the Navy, private sector partners, and personnel to maintain NNS Delta as a model of excellence within the Central Naval Command.
