Tantita Reaffirms Commitment to Host Communities During Courtesy Visit to Idjerhe Monarch

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has reiterated its commitment to strengthening ties with host communities in the Niger Delta, stressing that traditional institutions and local residents remain central to its operations.

The assurance was given during a courtesy visit by the company’s management team to the palace of the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom in Delta State, His Majesty King Obukohwo Monday Whiskey (PhD), Udurhie I.

The delegation, led by Tantita’s Community Relations Manager, Dcn Akpos Seimode, said the visit was aimed at deepening collaboration and sustaining mutual trust between the company and the Idjerhe Kingdom.

Receiving the team, the monarch commended Tantita for maintaining what he described as a peaceful and cordial relationship with the kingdom and its people.

Speaking during the visit, Seimode said the partnership between Tantita and Idjerhe Kingdom had remained smooth, productive and rooted in trust, noting that the company views host communities not merely as stakeholders but as key partners in progress.

“Our communities and kingdoms are our real partners. The relationship we have continued to enjoy with Idjerhe Kingdom reflects the level of trust, cooperation and goodwill that exists between us,” he stated.

Seimode noted that Tantita has continued to distinguish itself through consistent engagement with traditional rulers and community leaders across the Niger Delta, adding that the company remains committed to peace, stability, development and shared prosperity within its areas of operation.

He further emphasised the importance of collaboration in safeguarding critical oil and gas infrastructure, noting that sustained harmony between host communities and security operators is essential to national economic stability.

In his response, the Ovie expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed the kingdom’s readiness to continue supporting initiatives aimed at development and sustainable cooperation.
