EDP DESOPADEC Olorogun Dr Ebenezer Okorodudu Congratulates Ohworode of Olomu on Emergence as Chairman of Body of Benchers
The Executive Director of Projects on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Olorogun Ebenezer Okorodudu (Ph.D), has congratulated the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Albert Akpomudje, SAN, FCIArb, Eyavwie-Alakal I, on his emergence as Chairman of the Body of Benchers of Nigeria.
Dr. Okorodudu conveyed his congratulatory message in a statement issued in Warri on Thursday, April 2, 2026 and made available to the media, describing the monarch’s elevation as a great honour not only to Olomu Kingdom, but also to Delta State and the entire Niger Delta region.
He said the emergence of HRM Albert Akpomudje to such a highly revered legal office is a testament to his enduring integrity, professional excellence, and remarkable contributions to the legal profession and national development. According to him, the royal father has continued to distinguish himself as both an accomplished legal luminary and a respected traditional ruler.
The DESOPADEC Executive Director noted that the appointment reflects the confidence reposed in the monarch’s leadership, wisdom, and capacity by the Nigerian legal community. He added that the development would serve as an inspiration to younger generations to pursue excellence, discipline, and selfless service in their various fields of endeavour.
Dr. Okorodudu further commended the Ohworode for his steadfast commitment to justice, fairness, and the preservation of cherished traditional values. He stressed that the monarch’s reign has continued to attract peace, honour, and progress to Olomu Kingdom, while expressing confidence that he would bring his wealth of experience and sound judgment to bear in his new national assignment.
He prayed for God’s wisdom, strength, and good health upon HRM Albert Akpomudje as he assumes the exalted office, and wished him a successful and impactful tenure as Chairman of the Body of Benchers. He added that the people of Olomu Kingdom are proud of the monarch’s achievement and join in celebrating the significant milestone.
