Bolowou-Zion Community Leaders Distances Themselves From Attack Against Tantita, Maton Over Pipeline Security Contract

The leaders of Bolowou-Zion Community, headquarters of Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Zion, in Ondo State, have distanced themselves from attack against Tantita Security Services Limited and Manton Engineering Company Limited over pipeline security contract.

Their position was made in a statement issued on Thursday, by Rev. Epistle Princewill Jemine, General Overseer, C&S Church of Zion, Bolowou-Zion Community.

They passionately appealed to all stakeholders in Niger Delta to be calm and adopt strategic engagement to resolve the pipeline surveillance contract controversy.

“We call on government authorities, and general public to exercise restraint over agitations from certain quarters and some persons demanding for decentralization of the pipeline surveillance contracts, as this will prevent further escalation”


According to the statement,“Also, we advise the Federal Government and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to sustain the resultful collaboration with Tantita Security Services Limited, and Maton Engineering Company Limited for the best interest of Nigeria and Niger Delta region”

“Very importantly, we must establish that the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom and Bolowou-Zion Community, have lived harmoniously and will continue to enjoy that cordial physical and spiritual relationship”

“Also, Bolowou-Zion Community, has benefited immensely from our brothers in Gbaramatu Kingdom, and this is despite the fact that Bolowou-Zion Community,  is not an oil and gas producing or pipeline Community in Ondo State”

“We shall remain grateful to them, and, therefore, would not want to be dragged into any fight against Tantita Security Services Limited over the pipeline surveillance controversies. Though, we are praying, believing and hoping that someday, oil and gas will be discovered in Bolowou-Zion Community”

It continued,“The agitations surrounding pipeline surveillance contracts were unnecessary, as we strongly affirm our support to contracts awarded to Ijaw people”


“It is true that Chief Bibopere Ajube, aka Shoot-at-sight, is from Bolowou-Zion Community, but we will never support actions that will instigate any form of disunity between Bolowou-Zion Community and our brothers in Gbaramatu Kingdom”


“Bolowou-Zion Community is a consecrated ground and spiritual citadel, a unifying spiritual center for our members in Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa and across the Niger Delta. We are peace loving people”

 
“Therefore, let be on record that we are not part of any fight against Tantita Security Services Limited over the Pipeline Security Contract. We must avoid decisions that may cause further disunity amongst Ijaw people”

“Bolowou-Zion Community totally support the vision and mission of Tantita Security Services Limited, and available evidence have shown and proven that Tantita Security Services Limited and Maton Engineering Company Limited are  playing significant role in protecting critical national assets and fostering stability in the Niger Delta”

“Tantita Security Services Limited and Maton Engineering Company Limited are made up of illustrious sons of the Ijaw Nation, and they deserve our collective prayers, recognition, and support for their contributions to regional development”


It concluded,“Bolowou-Zion Community is committed to the progress of the Niger Delta region and Ijaw Nation,through cooperation, dialogue, and divine guidance rather than conflict”
