Business Grant: Tantita’s MD empowers 80 Nigerians with N10 million each
In a grand display of philanthropy, High Chief Kestin Ebimobowei Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, has disbursed ₦800 million to 80 Nigerian entrepreneurs through the second edition of the Kestin Pondi Business Grant.
The event, held on March 9, 2026, at MBB Consortium, marked a significant milestone in Nigeria's business empowerment landscape.
The grant, doubled from ₦5 million to ₦10 million per beneficiary, sparked joy and gratitude among recipients.
The programme's impact was further amplified by contributions from prominent leaders, including High Chief Godfrey Tare Pondi, Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka, and Chief Festus M. Ochonogor, who donated ₦100 million each, expanding the programme to 80 beneficiaries.
Speaking with PEBNEWS, Shedrack Agediga, chairman Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board said, "this means a lot to everybody, this is what government can not do, what he has done is to take people off the streets, and to take them to their business places, several governments cannot do this and so I'm very grateful to my brother Chief Kestin Pondi for deeming it fit to empower our people.
"The process is very clear and transparent. I'm not sure ten per cent of Ijaw is in the team, and that gets to tell you how credible this process is," he added.
Mrs. Salamacu Muhammed, a mother of six, who is a beneficiary, praised the transparent process and expressed gratitude for the support, pledging to expand her businesses and create jobs.
