Tantita's track record is securing Nigeria's future, uplifting the Niger Delta - Eki
President Bola Tinubu has been urged to ignore selfish and mischievous calls for the termination of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited Pipelines surveillance contract but to renew it due to the track record and successes recorded.
This call was contained in a letter addressed to the President by Eki David Greg, a security expert from the Niger Delta.
The letter read in part, "In the crucible of Nigeria’s development, some partnerships shine brighter than others. The alliance between the Federal Government and Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, helmed by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) and High Chief Engr. Kestin Ebimorbowei Pondi, is one that’s delivered results—and fast.
"The Niger Delta, once synonymous with oil theft and pipeline mayhem, is breathing easier under Tantita’s watch.
"The stats tell a compelling story: Oil theft down by over 70%, Pipeline vandalism at an all-time low, Local communities benefiting from jobs, infrastructure, and peace.
"Tantita’s formula is simple yet effective: local knowledge + tech-driven security + genuine community engagement. They’ve turned the tide, and the region’s economic pulse is stronger because of it.
"Retaining Tantita isn’t just about contract renewal—it’s about sustaining progress, empowering locals, and securing Nigeria’s oil lifeline. They’re not just a security outfit; they’re catalysts for stability in the Niger Delta.
"I urge Your Excellency to consider renewing Tantita’s mandate, recognizing their pivotal role in transforming the region and safeguarding national interests.
