An 18-seater bus transporting passengers to the burial of Bayelsa State’s late Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, was involved in a serious accident along the Toru-Orua section of the Sagbama–Ekeremor Road.
Preliminary reports indicate that the crash, which happened on one of the major roads in the area, killed more than 10 people.
