The Holy Spirit is different from Anointing Spirit - GKS

A sermon delivered on Monday at the God's Kingdom Society (GKS) Feast of Tabernacles 2025 with the preacher emphasizing the distinction between the Holy Spirit and the anointing spirit.

PEBNEWS speaking with Brother Felix Ekundayo Adedokun, the President of GKS explained that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God given to His people to understand, know, and worship Him, while the anointing spirit is a higher spirit given to selected individuals to see God in vision.

He warned against false claims of having the anointing spirit, stating that Satan can transform into an angel of light to deceive people, and cited biblical references to support his claims.

The preacher also addressed the controversy surrounding the cross, stating that Christ was crucified on a tree, not a cross, and that the cross is a pagan symbol borrowed from Rome.

He advised believers to read the scriptures and do the right thing, and urged those worshiping the cross to reconsider their actions.
