The Urhobo Editors and Publishers Alliance (UEPA) has extended an official invitation to High Chief Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd., to serve as Special Guest of Honour at its 2025 edition.

In a statement released by the organisers, UEPA described Pondi’s participation as strategically significant, citing his respected leadership role and his organisation’s contributions to security, stability and community development in the Niger Delta.

Also invited are Chief Hon. Evelyn Omavowan Oboro, a former high-performing lawmaker in the Federal House of Representatives, and Engr. Frank Esemudje, Chairman of Honour Flow Nigeria Ltd., widely regarded as an Urhobo leader of thought and a strong advocate for socio-economic advancement.

According to the Alliance, Esemudje’s perspectives on development, policy strategy and civic responsibility are expected to add depth to the discourse planned for the event.

UEPA noted that the 2025 convergence is conceived as a robust platform bringing together media practitioners, policymakers and community leaders to examine emerging issues affecting the Urhobo nation and the broader Niger Delta. The involvement of highly regarded stakeholders, it said, underscores both the relevance and the elevated quality of conversations envisioned for the programme.

The organisers further disclosed that several other distinguished personalities from across the region have been invited, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive participation and constructive dialogue. Their collective input, UEPA added, will help strengthen the drive toward progress, unity and principled leadership within Urhoboland.

Assuring a well-curated and impactful agenda, the Alliance emphasized that the 2025 edition will blend intellectual depth with cultural significance. It expressed confidence that the presence and contributions of its eminent guests will enrich discussions and support ongoing efforts to promote transparency, cohesion and sustainable development across the Urhobo landscape.
