Nwoko hails new NDDC Warri office as beacon of reform, champions sustainable growth in Niger Delta

In a bold signal of change for the Niger Delta, Senator Ned Nwoko joined Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other political heavyweights on Friday to unveil the new Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) State Office in Warri. Described as a "symbol of transparency and reform," the project is being hailed as a game-changer in the region’s push for institutional revival and people-focused development.

The event, which drew federal and state lawmakers, traditional rulers, youth leaders, and civil society organisations, underscored a renewed commitment to sustainable infrastructure and effective governance under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Stakeholders believe the new office will strengthen the NDDC’s presence and performance across Delta State and the wider Niger Delta region.

Speaking after the commissioning, Senator Nwoko said the new NDDC office represents more than just a building but a statement of intent from the federal government to restore public trust and drive real development. He said, “This milestone reflects the renewed commitment to efficient service delivery, transparency, and people-centred governance in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Senator Nwoko, widely recognised for his advocacy on institutional accountability and regional development, reaffirmed his support for projects aligned with the Renewed Hope vision. “As the Senator representing Delta North, I remain firmly committed to supporting initiatives that align with the Renewed Hope vision.
