Ahead 2027: Speak like opposition to politicians,Prophet Ariole charges CAN,PFN leaders

Ahead of the 2027 general elections in Nigeria, the General Overseer of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle, GFT in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State,Prophet Austin Ariole JP today urged the church in the Country to speak like an opposition against Politicians in the Country. 

The cleric made the call during his birthday celebration in a chat with Our Correspondent in Warri. 

He said,"Those who are leaders in Christian Association of Nigeria,CAN and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN  should be able to point to the elites/politicians  that this you are doing is wrong. Our members might be tempted not to vote for you because of your characters."

Prophet Ariole also said,"Unfortunately, you know hunger. When you tell them(members) not to vote, they will still collect(money) and vote."

Prophet Ariole opined that,"Even if don't vote, maybe your vote will not count because of the INEC issues you raised."

On the 2027 election, Prophet Ariole said the newly formed Coalition are the same old folks. He said,"I have not seen anything. 

He declined comments on who will become the next President between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, former Vice Preaident of Nigeria and Presidential Aspirant of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in the 2023 general elections and Mr.Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State and Presidential Aspirant of the Labour Party, LP. 

According to him,"I don't answer base on physical impulse. The Lord reveals. If you remember at the heat of Buhari's election, I was praying on the mounting,it was revealed that Buhari was going to win against my wish. Out there, I had calls from even the Christian folks why Buhari? But it came to pass. So, I respond based on divine revelation. I don't want to be a prophet that speak based on sentiments and when the result is contrary to what I say, I will begin to lick my wounds. No! I believe God speaks. He speaks through dreams. He speaks through revelation and that's when I will be able give definite answer."

Prophet Ariole further said the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is a  major problem in the political affairs of the Country. He warned that unless there's a reform in INEC, the stories of electoral irregularities, ballot snatching, manipulation and vote stealing will continue to repeat itself. 

"Naturally, if you are Tinubu, will you Sit and somebody will take power from you? That's the character of the black. 

"Look at Nelson Mandela, just one term and he eased himself out of politics and retired home. Obasanjo wanted to do thirs term. That's the problem with Nigeria Politics."
