PAP Launches Phase 2 Leadership Training to Foster Peace in Niger Delta

The Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) has launched its Phase 2 leadership and technical skills development training for stakeholders and leaders from across the Niger Delta region. 

This follows the successful completion of Phase 1 training two weeks ago. The initiative, led by PAP Administrator Chief Dennis Otuaro, PhD, aims to strengthen leadership and promote lasting peace in the Niger Delta.

The three-day training program, held in collaboration with the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) in Abuja, is themed "Leadership, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Mediation." 

The program is designed to equip key stakeholders with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to effectively build peace and manage conflicts.

This ongoing effort reflects Chief Otuaro's commitment to empowering stakeholders with the tools needed for responsible leadership. By enhancing their capacity to manage and resolve community-level conflicts, the PAP is reinforcing peace-building mechanisms crucial for the region's socio-economic development and stability.
