2027: I wouldn't have endorsed Oborevwori, Chief Emami declares as APC Itsekiri leaders pass vote of confidence on Tinubu

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta State, Chief Ayirimi Emami today said he wouldn't have endorsed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for a second term in office. Chief Emami said this during a chat with newsmen shortly after the APC Itsekiri leaders in Warri Federal Constituency's meeting held in Warri. Chief Emami noted that he alongside the APC Itsekiri leaders endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for second term in office for their excellent performances in office.
He also identified Politics as the problem responsible for internal divide amongst the Itsekiri indigenes over the years.
While thanking God that the Itsekiris are coming back together as one entity as united family,Chief Emami said,"Una know say we endorse my Oga and my leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for second term in office. I for nor endorse Sheriff Oborevwori but as Dem come join us for our party, I nor get choice. So, I endorse the two of them."
Earlier, the All Progressives Congress, APC leaders in Warri Federal Constituency passed a vote of confidence and endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori for a second term in office.
A former member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon.(Barr.) Daniel Omayone Mayuku moved the motion for the vote of confidence /endorsement for the duo for a job well done in the past two years in office.
The motion was promptly seconded by a pioneer member of the Delta State House of Assembly,Hon. Otimeyin Emmanuel Origbo.
The member representing the people of Warri Federal Constituency, Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi who presided over the meeting threw it into a voice vote and the Itsekiri leaders unanimously supported and passed the vote of confidence/endorsement of the President and the governor.
