Right activist, Israel Joe commend Police over rearrest, remand of man over alleged, theft, conspiracy in Delta

A human right activist, Comrade Israel Joe has commended the Delta State Police Command led by CP Olufemi Abaniwonda for the rearrest and subsequent remand into prison a man,Godstime Edesiri over alleged theft and conspiracy in the State.

This is contained in a statement sent to Our Correspondent in Warri. 

"This action by the command deserves commendations, and I stand in solidarity with the command for this action prompted by injustice from a so-called activist."

Comrade Joe noted that the Godstime Edesiri was rearrested by the Police at Oginibo Community, Ughelli South Local Government Area on Tuesday, January 14. 

He said, "According to reports, the said suspect who opted for out of court settlement and refunded the monies that were allegedly fraudulently diverted from a complainant was instigated to initiate a refund by one Elder Edariese who claimed to be an activist.

"It's regretfully disgraceful that some people who lack basic school of thought in activism now find their ways into being activists for nothing but stomach sake. 

"They relegate the truth and sample only ideas that are alien to justice. They move from one police station to another, seeking matters to resolve in order to be paid.

"They amplify one-sided stories because they want to challenge institutions of government."
