President Tinubu divides aviation college into six regional campuses for national coverage
President Bola Tinubu has approved the division of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria, Kaduna State, into six campuses to enhance efficiency, broaden national reach, and streamline operations.
The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced this development on Wednesday via its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
“President Bola Tinubu has decided to split the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria–Kaduna State, into six campuses to ensure efficiency, national coverage, and smooth operations,” the statement read.
Under the new structure, the six campuses will be strategically distributed across Nigeria’s geopolitical zones. The locations include:
● Akure (Southwest)
● Osubi (South-South)
● Ebonyi (Southeast)
● Ilorin (North Central)
● Yola (Northeast)
● Zaria (Northwest)
This decentralization is expected to bring aviation training closer to various regions, foster inclusivity, and enhance the capacity of the aviation sector nationwide.
