Youth Reawakening: Prophet Ariole commends Gov. Oborevwori, VDM, Tompolo, Pondi, Angozi

The General Overseer of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle, GFT in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Prophet Austin Ariole JP today commended the efforts of some of Nigeria personalities for their humanitarian attributes in Nigeria. They include: the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, Very Dark Man(VDM), High Chief (Dr.) Oweizide Government Ekpemupolo Alias Tompolo , member representing the people of Burutu Federal Constituency, in the House of Representatives, RT.Hon. Julius Gbabojor Pondi and a  two- time Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council and former Commissioner in Delta State, Dr. Bradus Angozi.

Ariole gave this commendation at a midweek service just as he prayed for a reawakening of youths in the country.

On the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, he said as a young man, he led the Urhobo struggle to the office of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC before he became a member of the Delta State House of Assembly where he rose to become the Speaker of the House before his emergence as a Governor. 

On the Very Dark Man, he said, all VDM's agitations are "discipline based". His words:"This is a young man that's able to stand before the high and tell them their wrongs headlong. I watched him in the House of Representatives and then, I remember the late Enahoro who moved a motion was it in 1963?"

Prophet Ariole said VDM in the midst of the corruption in the Nigerian society has tackled the Inspector-General of Police, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC as well as renowned lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana SAN. 

Prophet Ariole who argued that there should equality in the Nigerian society said: "VDM has given a ray of hope to the Nigerian youths that every man should equal. Kudos to that young man."

Prophet Ariole opined that VDM could be from the lineage of Oba Overanwen whom he said was strong, dogged and never afraid to his death. "That's the spirit of Very Dark Man."

On High Chief (Dr.) Oweizide, Ariole said, Government Ekpemupolo Alias Tompolo is a symbol of peaceful resolution to the Niger Delta people. 

The Cleric said he(Tompolo) has used "peaceful resolution" in his agitations for the equitable distribution of the mineral resources to better the lives of his people. 

According to him, Tompolo has  used his peaceful agitations to attract development to the land as well as improve on the lives of the people of the Niger Delta. 

He stressed that he(Tompolo) set his people free with his peaceful agitations. 

"Do you know how many Ijaws, Deltans, Niger Deltans are on scholarships because of the agitation? Do you know schools that have been built as a result of his agitation? He is a hero of the Niger Delta."

"There are indications that the poor can become a colossus in their time. Don't give up. Tompolo is a voice in Africa. He didn't come from the rich. He was born out of struggle."

On member representing the people of Burutu Federal Constituency, in the House of Representatives, RT.Hon. Julius Gbabojor Pondi for supporting and empowering his people as well as persons outside his constituency positively and effectively well. 

"That young man went to his area where he stayed before and began to spread joy to his people outside his constituency. This is what these people can do change lives and destinies of people irrespective of their religious beliefs. Tompolo and his allies.

"Therefore, I give Kudos to Tompolo. Even that Julius Pondi, I give Kudos to him. These are icons of our time. They're young people."

On the two time Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council and former Commissioner in Delta State, Dr. Bradus Angozi for his support to humanity irrespective of ethnic, religious and political affiliations

His words: "There's  a man called Dr. Bradus Angozi. If you know that man, you are blessed. Dr. Bradus will change you in his own capacity. I have never seen anybody like that. 

"He will call you to find out how you are faring in your academics and in your work.  We need these kind of kind-hearted people in the society and let the world become a better place."

Prophet Ariole said despite the many voices in the society he encouraged the youths to shun vices that are inimical to their growth and development and never to lose hope  in life.
