Three Battalion Soldiers' Transit Accommodation Reconstruction: Nigerian Army commends Tantita for laudable projects
The General Officer Command, 6 Division of the Nigerian Army, Maj. Gen. J.H Abdusallam has commended Tantita Security Services Limited for its efforts and contributions by reconstructing the 3 Battalion Soldiers Transit accommodation.
Gen. Abdusallam stated this today (Tuesday) during the commissioning ceremony of the project in Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of the state.
PEBNEWS reports that the lofty project undertaken by Tantita Security Services provides the Brigade and the Sector with 68 rooms, 18 bathrooms and conveniences, and 3 central kitchens - all fully equipped.
He commended the efforts and contributions of Tantita Security Services Limited for reconstruction of the 3 Battalion Soldiers Transit accommodation saying that the project is a laudable one adding that, it would earnestly benefit the Nigerian Army especially in the area of accommodations.
According to him: "I am aware of the enormous resources that Tantita committed towards achieving this project. It will engender the spirit of jointness and goodwill which will be sustained.
"I thank most sincerely for complementing the Nigerian Army's efforts of improving the welfare of personnel."
He further urged the Management of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited to look at other barracks and extend its goodwill in its areas of responsibility.
Maj. Gen. Abdusallam also said the Nigerian Army has had a good working relationship with Tantita Security Services Limited just as he sued for continued co-operation between them.
In his words: "Nigeria Army will continue to have and sustain the working relationship with Tantita Security Services' Nigeria Ltd.
"You can see that this project was born out of this working relationship we have kept with the private security company. If we have not kept such working relationship, I don't think this project would have come to stay".
In a remark, Tantita Security Services Limited's Executive Director (Operations & Technical), Capt. Enisuoh Wariedi said: "We have reasons to be more grateful to all the security forces."
While noting that the project is an interesting one, Capt. Wariedi also said: "We will continue to stand by you just the way you stood by us. This is the beginning of a great partnership to come."
He added that: "You have not only contributed to our development and safety, you have also contributed greatly to the development of our security, this region (Niger Delta) and indeed, our nation, Nigeria".
A source (soldie) said, the project has the capacity of accommodating 140 soldiers at a time.
The highpoint of the event was the commissioning of the project by Maj. Gen. Abdusallam who was flanked by the Commander 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Brig. Gen. Unachukwu Nwachukwu and other top echelons of the Nigerian Military.
