Delta @33: Odogu assures Deltans of More prospects for development in years ahead

The Peoples Democratic Party's Chieftain and Executive Assistant to the Governor Oborevwori on community development, Hon Emakpo Odogu has assured Deltans of more prospects for development than it had thirty-three years ago.

According to him, the past administrations have made the state to grow to where it is to today especially from the administrations  of  Olorogun Felix Ibru to the present administration of Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori.

Hon Odogu said  Asaba’s transformation from a sleepy town to one of the fastest-growing state capitals in the country is unique and attributed  this to the foundation laid down  by previous administrations which  included that of  Chief James Ibori, Dr. Emmanuel Eduaghan, and  Senator Dr  Ifeanyi Okowa.

The Executive Assistant to the Governor on Community development who reflected on the progress the state has made so far in the face of challenges, said, the state is  grown from a fledgling one  to a thriving hub of commerce, industry, and culture adding that, there  is still  hope and confidence in the state’s future as the efforts of successive administrations  have brought, peace, unity, and trust among Deltans.

He urged Deltans to co-operate  with Governor Oborevwori,  other leaders as well as civil servants  to enable the state to witness more growth and development.

Odogu commended all former Governors for their contributions and extended more congratulations to Governor Oborevwori for witnessing the 33rd years  anniversary of the state’s creation while in office.

He therefore wished Deltans happy 33 years  anniversary celebration, just as he prayed to God to bless  and guide the state to achieve greater heights.
