Clerics, Christians urged to emulate Jesus Christ's way of life
Clerics and Christians alike all over the world have been urged to emulate Jesus Christ, their redeemer's styles of life.
Velnerable Emmanuel Azugo gave the charge during his valedictory sermon at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Ekiugbo- Ughelli in Anglican Diocese of Ughelli Anglican Communion in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Speaking on the theme: "The Beginning and the End, the Cleric advised all fellow clergy and those in position of leadership to be faithful in discharging their responsibility.
Venerable Azugo who took his sermon from Rev.1:8, John 1;1 and 2nd Timothy said Jesus Christ is the truth and light.
Addressing Journalists immediately after his valedictory homily, he posited that his forty four years in the ministry of Jesus Christ here on earth was full of challenges but in all, God saw him through all the odds and called on called on all Christians to serve God with perseverance, faith and holiness noting, there is great rewards in doing the work of God in faithfulness.
On his part, His Royal Majesty, Richard Oghenewogaga Ebelle (JP) Okorefe 1, the Ovie Of Agbarah-Otor Kingdom Worldwide thanked God for the life of Venerable Azugo after his forty four years as a priest In God's vineyard.
The high point of the Valedictory Service was a presentation of new building built and furnished by his son, Christlike Azugo as all the children praised their father for showing them the way of Christ.
