APC'll be extinct before 2027 due to hardship in Nigeria says Onuesoke
A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Delta State, Chief Sunny Onuesoke today, said, the All Progressives Congress (APC) will go into extinction before 2027 due to the hardship all over the country.
Chief Onuesoke, a former Governorship Aspirant of the PDP made the declaration during an interview with Our Correspondent in Warri. He said citizens including some APC faithful can no longer eat good meals left alone afford three square meals.
His words:" A basket of garri is now sold for between #3,800 and #4,000, a basket of beans is sold between #8,500 and #10,000, while a basket of rice is now sold between #6,500 and #7,500. Garri, which is the staple food for the common man is no longer affordable due to hike its price because majority of the citizens earn meager salaries while the politicians living big because they have access to government's money".
He noted that some of the APC faithful and citizens are only pretending that all is well but are only waiting to vote out the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his "Renewed Hope Mantra" which he said has been dashed.
He added: "Whether you like it or not, APC will be extinct before 2027 because the hunger in Nigeria is serious. Many citizens who cannot cope are already committing suicide. They no longer believe in the "Renewed Hope" of Mr. President because they believe their hopes have been dashed. Some of them including APC members are only waiting to vote President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his "Renewed Hope" out of office."
He said the rate at which citizens commit suicide is alarming adding, this is due the to hardship in the country. Giving an instance of what happened recently due to the hardship and frustration in the country, he said, an unidentified woman committed suicide by jumping from top of Ekpan bridge down the floor.
Chief Onuesoke said the APC will not survive the political Tsunami that's coming in 2027 adding that, even if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu increases the minimum wage for civil servants reasonably, it will not will save the APC and his government.
In his words:" Who will take care of the market women? Who will increase their profit margin in business? The private sector cannot pay what the NLC and TUC are negotiating for workers. The matter is even worse by this for the APC."
He added that the price of fuel should be reduced to ease the movements of the citizens and goods as well to regulate the prices of goods/commodities in the market to regain the confidence of the people.
In a related development, the General Overseer of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle(GFT), Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Prophet Austin Ariole JP at a midweek service yesterday said, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's "Renewed Hope" for Nigerians has crashed. The Cleric who corroborated the claims of the PDP Chieftain said:"We are living close to a State of anarchy but we don't know."
According to Prophet Ariole: "Many are committing suicide. Many are waiting to die. Many are living in pains. You have the confidence dashed in "Renewed Hope" of the President."
Prophet Ariole stressed that Nigeria is in the State of "obscurity". He however enjoined citizens not to kill themselves by committing suicide. "You did not start your life by yourself so, don't take your life because of hunger and frustration", he said.
The Cleric who acknowledged the fact that Nigerians struggle virtually for everything they desire in the country, said:"A few can be seen living in affluence especially politicians because of the money they stole.
He therefore urged Nigerians to stick to God in this trying times of hardship and hunger in the land stressing:"God is the only one who can save us."
