A 24 -Year -Old Boy Nabbed, Maltreated for alleged Stealing in Delta Community

A 24-year-old boy, identified as Godspower Firstman, was allegedly nabbed and maltreated for stealing N38,500 from a resident of Ayakoromo Community, in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State. 

PEBNEWS can report that the suspect who hails from Oboro and Kpakiama Communities in Bomadi Local Government Area of the  state was Tuesday nabbed and maltreated by some Ayakoromo Community Excos, according to their constitution and  thereafter, he  was  kept in their custody.

The suspect said: "I accept, truly, I stole the sum of N38,500, please, forgive me, I will pay back,".

Confirming the arrest, an Exco member, known as Patrick said, "We have asked him, and he has accepted. So we dey give am wetin fit am."

While speaking with the victim, Emeleakpo Okpoze asserted that he just needed his full money.

His words: "Nothing more than my money, he just has to return my money, that is all"
