Bayelsa West Thanks Gov. Diri, Deputy over Appointment of Magbisa as Commissioner

Stakeholders, Women and Youth leaders of Bayelsa West have expressed their appreciation to Governor Douye Diri and Senator Lawrence Ewrhudjakpor, his deputy over the appointment and successful swearing in ceremony of Mr. Michael Magbisa, Commissioner for Special Duties, Bayelsa West.

They also congratulated Mr. Magbisa, describing his appointment as a pointer to the fact that hard work pays.

Some of them who spoke to Newsmen described Mr. Michael Magbisa's appointment as commissioner special duties Bayelsa West as a befitting position because the office is a familiar one for him based on his antecedent as the immediate past Vice Chairman of Bayelsa West.

Speaking Chief Aladei Agwa a former commissioner in the civil service commission and Mr. Tobi Ebikedimie assistant Youth leader Bayelsa West while expressing their gratitude to the prosperity government for the appointment of an illustrious son of the Senatorial District described Mr. Magbisa as a round peg in a round hole adding that he has the experience and acumen to work hand in gloves with the prosperity government to bring the dividends of democracy to the people of the grassroots.

Mr. Preye Okoriye,  Director Prosperity Youths Coalition Sagbama Chapter and Mrs. Timi Adesi women leader Sagbama both described Mr Magbisa as a politician who as a mobilizer of humans and resources as evident in the way he discharged his duties with the previous political offices he has held. They expressed their confidence in his ability to bring the dividends of democracy to the people of the state and Bayelsa West Senatorial District.

In a remark, Mr. Michael Magbisa, the newly sworn in commissioner for special duties Bayelsa West thanked Governor Diri and Senator Lawrence Ewrhudjakpor, his deputy for the appointment. He also thanked Senator Seriake Dickson, senator representing Bayelsa West for his mentorship and support.

The commissioner also extended his gratitude to the people of Bayelsa West for their unwavering support he has enjoyed over the years,  stressing that he will not let them down in the course of discharging his duties as a Commissioner for Special duties Bayelsa West.
