Right activist, Ozobo sympathises with military over death of soldiers, urges Delta Govt to fish out perpetrators

Human right activist, Comrade Austin Ozobo today sympathised with the Nigerian Military as well as some civilians who were allegedly killed in Delta State. 

"Am sympathetic to the families of the deceased persons and soldiers that have lost their lives."

In a chat with Our Correspondent in Warri Comrade Ozobo urged the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori led Delta State Government to urgently resolve the crisis insisting that the perpetrators must be fished out.

He also added that the right of the innocent should be respected. 

While noting that the land dispute between Okuama/Okoloba Communities in Ughelli South and Bomadi Local Government Areas had lingered for years, Comrade Ozobo said if the Delta State Government had been proactive enough, the situation would not have degenerated/escalated into a full blown crisis which led to the death of the soldiers. 

According to Comrade Ozobo, "Our Government is not proactive to conflict management. The government should learn to be proactive to conflict management. Must you develope from conflict to violence before we always act or come in?
