Combolous emerge as Burutu Council Chairman as Angele bows out

Combolous Ikisa emerged as Burutu Local Government Council Chairman of Delta State, as Godknows Angele bowed out on Monday, 28 August. It was learnt that Combolous Ikisa was the vice chairman of the council before he was appointed to serve on acting capacity.However, the development followed the appointment of Angele as Commissioner of Housing and member of the State Executive Council by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.Speaking at the handover ceremony, Angele echoed appreciation to the people of Burutu, his executives and the Legislative Arm for the support he enjoyed while in office.Angele noted that his emergence as a two-time Council Chairman was only made possible through the goodwill of the people, adding that their prayers have further elevated him to his new position.He also charged his successor to prioritize the people in discharging his duties as Council Chairman.On the part of Combolous, he expressed gratitude to his boss for displaying great and positive leadership characteristics while in office, promising to sustain the tempo set by him.
