Bayelsa Youths Rally support for Governor Douye Diri

Ahead of the November 11 governorship election in Bayelsa state, Youths under the aegis of the PDP youth Alliance Bayelsa state chapter have drummed support for Governor Douye Diri.Speaking During the reception ceremony of Senator Benson Agadaga, Senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, at the PDP Youth Alliance secretariat, Yenagoa, Mr. Wisdom Kieribo, Bayelsa state coordinator and south-south chairman of the group said with the credible performance of governor Diri and the political strategies in the PDP and the Youth Alliance group, the party is sure of victory in the upcoming elections.While he thanked Senator Benson Agadaga for taking out time to encourage and strengthen the Youth group ahead of the election, Mr. Kieribo urged all Bayelsa Youths to support Governor Diri’s second term bid in order for him to complete the good works he has started in the state."The Governor has performed  beyond expectation and that is the most important thing... I see no reason why we the Party and every other well meaning Bayelsans will not deliver the governor come November 11, 2023."I thank the Senator Representing Bayelsa East for coming to encourage and strengthen us, the PDP Youth Alliance ahead of the elections."I also want to encourage all Youths in Bayelsa State to hold on to what they believe and let us see how we can deliver the governor in the upcoming election so that he can continue the good works that he has started". Kieribo said.Also, Mr. Ebitari James, Spokesman of the PDP Youth Alliance, said the group is prepared to work with other stakeholders of the party to ensure victory is achieved in the November eleven election.In a remark, Senator Benson Agadaga who is also chairman senate committee on Oil and Gas and host communities thanked the group for their support during his election as senator.While he charged them to work hand in gloves with the Party to ensure victory in the upcoming election, the lawmaker assured that as chairman of the senate committee on host communities of oil and gas, he will ensure that the benefits of the Petroleum Industry Act is brought to the people."First of all, I am here to thank them for their support during my Senatorial election bid. I am also here to tell them to get prepared for the battle ahead for them to return Senator Douye Diri to complete his eight year tenure. They have been doing a lot, I want them to perfect it, to work with us to make sure that we succeed." The Lawmaker said.
